New Breakfast Menu At Tom’s Kitchen

The new breakfast menu at Tom's Kitchen in Chelsea, London.

Breakfast is one of my favourite meals of the day. It sets the tone for the day ahead and fuels you through whatever you may be up to. I love to eat breakfast out as usually it’s a far more grand affair than my eggs or homemade granola. But, if I’m going to eat out for breakfast it better be good!

This is where the new breakfast menu at Tom’s Kitchen comes in. From the Michelin starred chef, Tom Aikens, Tom’s Kitchen now resides in 4 locations across London. The beautiful Chelsea and Canary Wharf spots have just launched a new breakfast menu that’s full of delicious and beautiful food.

Tom’s Kitchen in Chelsea is a modern British brasserie just moments from the Kings Road. The decor is simple inside with white walls making it feel bright and airy with a West London elegance. It’s the perfect spot for breakfast with friends!

The breakfast

The breakfast menu at Tom’s Kitchen has a great selection of dishes to suit every mood, from the healthy to the more indulgent.

Of course there is avocado toast on the menu, as what breakfast menu doesn’t have this these days. But there is also the Chia Seed and Acai Super Fruit Bowl if you feel like a lighter start to the day. This is not a traditional acai bowl as it is creamier in taste and appearance but it does come beautifully presented topped with banana, granola and coconut.

If you like things toasty, then you will love Tom’s Trio of Breakfast Bruschetta. If you need your avocado fix you can get it crushed sprinkled with chilli and seeds. The salmon and pepper salsa is an interesting twist but my favourite bruschetta topping was the light and fragrant crushed peas with burrata.

I can’t forget to mention the Baked Turkish Eggs with Sumac Yogurt. Yes, I know these appear on many menus, but they’re are not always created equal. The skillet arrives piping hot with the yolks runny and ready to be popped! The tomatoes and peppers engulfing the eggs are smokey in flavour and brought to life with the tangy sumac. If you like dunking, then this is the dish for you.

If you like your caffeine free lattes you’ll be happy to know there is either turmeric or matcha on the menu. There are also smoothies and milkshakes together with some refreshing freshly squeezed juices too. You’ll definitely leave feeling hydrated!

Breakfast in Chelsea?

Yes please! Even though this is across town for me I would most definitely venture back. I loved the vibe in here and the breakfast menu is full of delicious treats. You could sit in this beautiful place for hours chatting away sipping on fresh juices whilst you worked your way through the menu.

Breakfast at Tom’s Kitchen is definitely worth getting out of bed for!

Those Turkish eggs look SO yummy! Chelsea is not too far from me as I live south of the river, so I’ll definitely put this on my list. Like you, I’m always looking for the next great breakfast place haha! xx
