Street Feast: Dalston Yard

Street Feast: Dalston Yard
My good friend L won two tickets to the Time Out preview party for Street Feast at Dalston Yard last week and she very kindly offered her second ticket to me! Thank you!

Street Feast’s Dalston Yard has opened its doors again for the summer and is the street food destination in the East End. There will be 20 food traders on a rotation, with some big names including SMOKESTAK, Rola Wala, Bleecker St Burger, Orange Buffalo and B.O.B.’s Lobster.

There are also a number of different bars offering a variety of tipples – The Gin Store, Tequila Treehouse and Rum Shack are just a few of the options!

I made it last year and loved it. I love how street food in London has massively taken off. So much great food and at reasonable prices (most of the time) means you get to try loads of great dishes. There are some new faces this year and I can’t wait to head back to try even more.

We had some great dishes from Rola Wala, Orange Buffalo and Yum Bun. Unfortunately, the lobster roll didn’t quite do it for me this time round, just a little chewy and the most expensive order of the night. Probably just an off night as heard great things, so will definitely be giving it another go. Next on my list from the Street Feast crew is Model Market in Lewisham as it’s a bit more local!

Dalston Yard is a fun place to eat, drink and be merry with your mates. Roll on Summer!

Dalston Yard is open Friday and Saturday 5pm – midnight until September 26th. £3 entry after 7pm.

Those flatbreads look AMAZING! I didn’t make it to Dalston Yard last year but determined to go this year. Dalston Food Market is pretty great if you’re looking for another street food feast! 🙂 xx
