Frozen Lemon Sherbet Cocktail

Frozen Lemon Sherbet Cocktail recipe
These are good. Really good.

We have been rather lucky with our English summer this year and well I love a good cocktail, so I have come up with a very refreshing recipe to keep you cool in the city. These are super easy to make too. Three ingredients and lots of ice; that’s it. Seriously. And they actually taste like sherbet. I’ll stop going on. This makes enough for two.

Serves 2

Frozen Lemon Sherbet Cocktail

Ingredients

  • Juice of one orange
  • 1/3 tub of lemon sorbet
  • 3 shots of vodka. ButĀ if you like weaker use less (and you can obviously use more if you wish!)
  • Lots of ice

Method

  1. Put the orange juice, lemon sorbet and vodka into a blender and then top up with ice. Blend until smooth. I like the orange in this – I found just lemon was a little too tart for my liking.
  2. Pour into a glass and garnish with some lemon peel if you fancy. I also recommend a straw – makes them much easier to drink! They really are sunshine in a glass.

Try not to drink these too quickly otherwise brain-freeze will set in. But you’ll see these don’t stay around for long! Enjoy.
